Aprilia have paid great attention
to detail with every aspect of this superbike and the instrument
panel and electrical system are no exception. Fitted with a memory
system that is a crucial part of the diagnostics. A top of the range
on-board computer system that allows you to easily switch between
the three mapping systems:
T - Track:
Ideal for the race track. Relases the bikes full power at the twist
of the throttle. Ideally should only be used in suitable track weather
conditions.
S - Sport: Ideal for those who prefer
an easy, more relaxing ride as the torque is limited in the first
three gears for greater control.
R-Road: Ideal for all road conditions
as the power is reined in to a maximum 140bhp at all times
What did the riders and reviewers
have to say??
Motorcycle.com's ups were the fully adjustable chassis,
the incredibly brutal engine and the perfect front end. Their downs
were it taking a few seconds to swap between modes and the power
being available from 10,000 rpm rather than something like 8000.
Customer comments on MCN included
'Top speed of 173mph without even trying', 'A bit too much for the
road but who cares' and 'Awesome bike, the noise alone sells it'.
Why not pop along to our showroom
and take a closer look???
